Asian Rock Fest 2005
The face of rock 'n' roll is changing. What started out as a random James Iha sighting or hearing secondhand about the last Cibo Matto concert has grown into something larger. On November 29, 2005 the integration of Asian musicians into rock 'n' roll will manifest itself in the form of the Second Annual Asian Rock Fest. The most ambitious festival of its kind will cover 4 hours, bringing together 4 of the best Asian-fronted bands from all along the East Coast. The New York City venue Mercury Lounge will host the event, featuring firmly established acts. The line-up includes: Kevin So, Vudoo Soul, The Ides and Johnny Hi-Fi.

In addition to originating the festival, AsianRockFest.com has positioned itself to be the most comprehensive online listing of Asian musicians across all major musical genres. Visit The Armies to join in making the statement that Asian musicians are an undeniable musical force whose impact is seen and heard more every day.

The Future
Asian Rock Fest will present East Coast and West Coast festivals in 2005. Look for multi-day, multi-city showcases in 2006. As the festival grows, so will the prominence of the headlining acts, including major artists from Asia in 2007. Help us spread the word to make all these goals possible.
