	06:00PM Eyes Like Knives Boston, MA Artist Website Formed in early 2001, Eyes Like Knives' mission is clear: Drawing from influences ranging from Sonic Youth to Quicksand, My Bloody Valentine to Jane's Addiction; ELK just wants to bring the rock. They're gonna give you noisy guitars with melodic vocals, delay-soaked stoner rock, eerie piano pieces, and some god-damn metal.

Yet Carol manages to reconcile her technical proficiency with a healthy dose of pop sensibility; her experiences in symphonic band, percussion ensemble, and even show choir have given her an ear for song that is rare these days.
	07:30PM Kite Operations New York, NY Artist Website Kite Operations came to be in March of 2003, when singer/guitarists Joseph Kim and David Yang, of indie noise-rock group Theselah, realized that their band would have to be put on indefinite hold. Joe enlisted the help of childhood friend Jie Whoon Kang, a classically trained bassist who quickly learned the ways of rock bass. Jie in turn brought his friend Sung Shin, an energetic and hard-hitting drummer. Since forming, they have been rehearsing and recording in their home studio, and performing live regularly in the NYC area.

	09:45PM Johnny Hi-Fi New York, NY Artist Website Johnny Hi-Fi is a unique blend of "Asian Brit-Pop" that has been compared to Coldplay, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and Weezer. After over 300 performances from New York City to Los Angeles, appearing on PBS' Texas Music Café television program, and earning multiple "Track of the Day" awards on GarageBand.com, Johnny Hi-Fi is now an acclaimed writer, producer and performer.
	10:30PM Bastion New York, NY Artist Website After many years writing and performing together in several NYC bands, Howie Lam (vocals/guitar) and Bill Kovalcik (drums) joined with guitarist Keith Ehrlich and formed Bastion in the summer of 2002. The following year saw the addition of Frederick Macaraeg (of The Ankles) on bass and Alex Dziena (of Haujobb) on keyboards.
	11:15PM Serious Weapon New York, NY Artist Website Posit a band. It is refined, elegant, in racial make-up mixed. Chime chords from its organs of melody. "This piano showroom turned duplex club has a big following. Masses of the fashionably bedraggled have packed the back room for loud shows by indie-rock bands like the Thrills, A.R.E. Weapons, the Witness, and Gina Gershon, with Girls Against Boys. The club became so hot last year that it incited a backlash among its hipster clientele. “Anywhere But Pianos” T-shirts appeared across the river in Williamsburg (the club countered by starting “Anywhere But Pianos” events featuring Brooklyn bands). The club and its music live on, and the performance schedule is slated to get more diverse, with blues and world-music acts. Starting next month there will be acoustic music shows on Sunday nights in the upstairs lounge."
